My name is Jacob Swain and I am 19 years old. I live in Machias, Maine and go to school at Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York. I am completing a double major in Digital Arts and Mathematics.
I am focusing on the design aspects of my major. I like designing everything from websites, to cars, to couches. It doesn't really matter to me what my project is - 2D, 3D, animation, video, website - I like it all. I use Photoshop for most of my 2D work and a little bit of Illustrator.
For my 3D stuff I use Rhinocerous and Maya. This site was actually designed in Rhinocerous as a 3D model and then I rendered it to get the shadows and coloring right. When I'm not working on a project I like hiking, biking, climbing, snowboarding, or anything else outside. I really like putting computers together and working on my car stereo. I am generally happy with whatever I am doing.
